MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his international popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his elder brother and mother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is a must. While a boy was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
